Free open air concert on the square, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Inspired by the music of Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66, Carioca Soul is a project from pianist, musical director and composer Wayne Pollock. Fronted by Kate Peters and Jenny Smith, this seven-piece band perform an eclectic mix of Bossa Nova/Samba and contemporary Brazilian music, mixed with original tunes in a melting pot of Latin/funk and soul.
